Koh Tao Activities
Gone are the days where the only thing to do on Ko Tao was to scuba dive. Nowadays the island offers as diverse things to do as luxurious spa treatments and bowling. In short: you won't get bored just because you don't dive.



Bowling
Newly opened Koh Tao Bowling and Minigolf offers a chance to play against friends over a cup of beer or a fresh shake. A great place to hang out with friends. Koh Tao Bowling is found on the main road between Mae Haad and Chalok Baan Kao.



Spa Treatments
There are now several spas on the island, including Orchid Spa, Jamakhiri Spa and Jira's Spa. All offer a combination of packages. We recommend you to study these on arrival.



Bouldering
Koh Tao offers excellent climbing and bouldering as the island is litterally littered with huge boulders and cliff sides. Zen Gecko close to Aukotan on the main road between Mae Haad and Chalok Baan Kao provides equipment and training.



Scuba Diving
Diving is as good as ever on Turtle Island. There are numerous dive centers on the island and most provide excellent PADI or SSI internationally recognized training.

The best dive sites include Chumphon Pinnacles, Shark Island, Koh Nang Yuan and Southwest Pinnacles. Common marine life include rays, triggerfish, sharks, turtles and much more.

KOH TAO is the cheapest dive destination in Thailand!



Snorkelling
Snorkelling is readily accessible from nearly every beach on the island. Especially Sairee Beach is easy to snorkel from. Other great spots are Mango Bay, Nang Yuan Island, Hin Wong Bay and last but not least Ao Thian Og Bay (Rocky Bay), which offers a very good chance of Black Tip Reef Shark encounters



Dining
Main areas for excellent dining include Sairee Village and Mae Haad. The beaches typically offer a selection of Thai restaurants largely offering bbq sea food. Especially Sairee Village is now home to a number of excellent restaurants including Tapas, Finlandia, El Toro, Porte Bello and Choppers.
